Has decided to Invest in agriculture such as Maize crops, Soya crops, Cabbage, Tomatoes and Onion in 50 ha (hectares) of land located in Kafue River and Kabwe 80 ha (hectares) of land with water streams and bow reservoir with enough capacity for automatic irrigations in the existent camps.
We are Investing as well in production of Chicken and Eggs intended for the export market in Central Africa and Asia, Goat meat to Asian markets and Cow Beef to Africa Austral. We aim to be one of biggest producers and suppliers of these products in Africa.
Matimba Agro-Processing LTD also decided to invest on Agro-Processing and Manufacturing Plants such as:
- Livestock Feed Production for Gallinaceous, Bovine and Swine Cattle;
- Oil Production and their derivates;
- Juice Production;
- Spice Powder Processing.
We aim to have all these processing plants in operation by November of 2023. The total investment is approximately Ten Million American dollars ($10.000.000) for all the plants including the productive fields and import of raw material such as coconut, palm seeds from Mozambique and Tanzania.

Livestock Feed Production for Gallinaceous, Bovine and Swine Cattle
With many farmers searching for food for their livestock, we decided to start producing livestock feeds having experience and knowledge of mixing formula, which is food supplementary products for different livestock. The other reason is the Feed weighs 55% on net profits, which is why we decided to invest in feed processing to significantly lower our operating costs by 35% of the total revenue.
Generally, we focus on the main ingredients in commercial livestock feed include protein meals and cakes, vitamins & minerals, molasses, peanut seedling, maize and wheat straws, feed grains such as brans, soybeans, maize, sorghum, oats, barley, and other edible agro by-products. We also produce for the all market and its definitively profitable business particular having huge demand of the cattle feed.

Coconut oil is used for various purposes like the production of toilet soaps, laundry soap, hair oils and other cosmetic products. The oil has various industrial application purposes. Coconuts are well and easily farmed in coastal areas, we are investing on a processing plants that are going to be based where we source our feedstock from, namely Mozambique and Tanzania being one of big producers of coconuts and palm trees and Matimba Agro-Processing Ltd are establishing relationship with farms and suppliers of the same raw material.
Fruit juice production is a profitable business, mainly because it has a ready, high demand market. The kind of fruits to use for juice production will be selected based on the availability of fruits. Matimba is starting with a small and single and expand to different fruits production. It would be more profitable when we grow the fruits by ourself or source them near from our operation site.
Food spices attract high ticket clients while maintaining low costs generating an amazing profit ratio. We have the necessary technical knowledge and skill on how to grind and package spices, mix different spice powders like chilly, cumin, garlic, clove, and turmeric to come up with unique spice. Alternatively, we have two segments of market sell individual spices for people to mix on their own or selling to companies already established for retail or balk depends on our customers’ preferences.
